Fit And Faithful
Army Wife | Fit Mom | Nutrition Coach | CFL1 | Blogger
I’m an army wife and mother of two amazing little girls. We are new to Colorado and natives of South Carolina.
I’m excited about bringing a new fitness community to Fountain. From a very young age I’ve been in love with sports. I’ve been an athlete since I was 5 years old. I continued my athletic career throughout high school and also played college volleyball.
After earning a degree in marketing and working in cooperate America for a few years I decided to pursue something I was passionate about, fitness!
I was introduced to CrossFit in 2015 and fell in love with the sport. I had the amazing privilege of competing alongside my teammates in some larger competitions such us Wodapalooza Miami and The Granite Games in Minnesota. Both of which were incredible opportunities to grow as an athlete and a coach.
“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.”
– PROVERBS 3:3
“God is in the midst of her she shall not be moved. He will help her when morning dawns.”
– PSALM 46:5
A Faithful Life
I’ve known Jesus since I was 12 years old but l didn’t completely surrender my life to him until October 2017. After running from God for over 15 years he brought me to the end of myself and to a new life in Christ. It has been an amazing, difficult & rewarding journey so far. For the first time in my life I feel complete. Knowing who I am in Christ and choosing to follow his plan for my life led to me to start this blog & Fitness Freedom.
The blog is a lot like therapy for me. I do my best to keep it real and share not only success but struggling with sin and how God’s word has helped guide me. I’m owning my status as a sinner saved by grace in hopes it will encourage others & maybe even lead them to Christ.
